In the early hours of Friday Morning, Police Captain Pratipat based at Dongtan Police Sub-Station on Jomtien Beach received a complaint from a 31 year old man, Khun Boonrit who claimed he had just been attacked by a group of Pattaya Police Volunteers on Jomtien Beach.

 

He explained that he was returning home from his friend’s house located off the Tepprasit Road when he spotted 8 men in uniforms commonly worn by Pattaya Police Volunteers. They were equipped with radio’s and utility belts and began to follow Khun Boonrit, who recognized one of the men who he had previously encountered and came into conflict with.

 

The group caught up with Khun Boonrit and proceeded to attack him and then the men stole his motorbike. Police are now investigating the case and are attempting to locate the group of men. Police are unsure at this time if they are actual Police Volunteers or not.

It was reported today that in the early hours of of Saturday morning at Jontiem Beach a Man named Khun Makitup was walking near the beach when he spotted a group of men (around eight in number). These men could be easily identified as part of a quasi-fanatical group well know in Pattaya as "Pattaya Addicts". They were wearing the groups standard issue uniform(T shirt, shorts ,sunglasses) and were belived to be carrying mobile phones. Khun Makitup was understandably aprehensive about approaching these well known fanatics but as he got closer he could see that they were indulging in lewd and discusting talk about "bar girls" etc. Undestandably shocked and horrified by his experience he repoted the matter to his local police station who are quoted as telling him to "piss off worm and get a life".

Tourist police are said to be investigating the incident........
