I had the pleasure of staying at Tropical Berts for two nights and it was FANTASTIC! I really wish I could have spent my whole trip there.

 

Pros

Big, NICE rooms. Has little things that I liked like a bottle opener.

DVD players in rooms

WiFi

GREAT restaurant downstairs

Very friendly staff

Quiet location. Lots of plants and trees outside. They even have a cool parrot out front.

Close to soi 6, but not ON soi 6 (it's at the top of soi 6/1)

Rooms have a large bed and couch with coffee table.

 

Cons

No pool (not a con for me personally)

Safety box downstairs in the restaurant

Security may be an issue (they don't ask for girls I.D.s when you bring them back)

 

This is where I'll probably be staying from now on if I'm able to.
