Pattaya Resort (Soi Bukaow) great value place to stay

On my last trip to Pattaya I stayed at the Pattaya Resort which is located on Soi Bukaow (Diana Estate) next to the Butchers Arms pub, this place is full of condo's which is owned by 2 companies and has 2 swimming pools, as I had my family along with me I got a 2 bedroom condo, I paid 1000 baht a night for this which I think is amazing value as I have not seen a 2 bedroom condo for under 2300 baht a night in Patt's, here's some pics of the condo

This pic is the kitchen area which had the basic stuff (pans, kettle, cutterly & electric cooker)

These pics are of the front room which was a big size, had a small tv (21") and VHS recorder with a Japaness porn vid included :o & 2 big couches & AC

One of the bedrooms with AC and en-suite toilet, both bedrooms had en-suite toilets

A pic of the front room again which also had a large fridge freezer

The Condo does not have WI-FI but if you go downstairs they have a travel agent which has 2 fast computer's also there is a laundry shop next to it which is handy, when I spoke to the owner he said that they would be getting WI-FI soon (in the next couple of months) due to high demand by guest.

My step daughter had to leave after a week so I changed rooms to a 1 Bedroom condo, here's some pics this cost 800 baht a day

The AC packed up after 2 days in this room, so the owner moved me back into the 2 bedroom condo but for the price of the 1 bedroom condo (800 baht) which was good of him, also they have those water machines on the ground floor which is very good, I used to fill up my 5 ltr bottle for only 5 baht and that would last me about 4 days. The rooms are cleaned every 2/3 days which they do a good job they even washed up my sons baby bottles for him :Laugh1: and are plates

Most of the condo's in this place is owned by farang's and are sub-let out so no rooms are the same, all rooms have safes some are better than others , now we come to the most important question of all is this a Girl friendly place, yes it is I have seen people bringing back 2 or 3 girls at the same time, all they do is collect there ID cards at the enterence

Location wise this place is great, you can walk out onto Soi Bukaow and get a baht bus to Soi 6 and be there in under 5 minutes also you can get to Walking Street by baht bus in between 5 - 10 minutes, there are also 2 markets close by, the big one is open on Tuesday & Friday and you get some good bargins there and is only a couple of minutes ride down Soi Bukaow also you have the Butchers Arms pub next to this place which serves a good breakfast or if you want a cheap opition then you have Canterbury tales which is only a 5 minute walk from here, LK Metro is about a 3 minute walk from here.

I will be staying here again as I was happy with the sevice I got from them and I would recommend this place for BM's

Here's a link to the 2 companies that own this place

Pattaya Resort

Soleili De Siam

Hope this helps you guys

Cheers

JT

Just before everyone gets too excited - this is a condo complex with several companies renting out multiple condos under the names mentioned above plus others. It also has thai and expat residents.

Jasonthai appears to have rented a very nice condo, although pricer than most. I can vouch that many of the condos rented out by Soliel de Siam are not upto this standard nor upto the standard in the pictures on their web site.

Don't get me wrong - if you want a good location, and nice pool at @13000bht a month for studio then hard to beat - just you might be disappointed by the facilities in the room - furniture a bit old, bathroom old, noicy AC, etc.

Does anyone know are there any issues, ie: GF ?

Yes I think I mentioned this place before, some of the guys stayed here, if you are staying for a month you can get a room for as little as 10k plus electric and gas.

Seriously thinking about this myself but I know around new year they are booked well in advance. If I cant get in the I believe R-Con is also very good value? No reports on that though would be interested in hearing any.

Wha's like us?

Looks great Jason - how did you go about booking it?? Did you book via internet in advance or just walk in??

I just contacted them via there web-site and they got in contact with me via e-mail, they do require a deposit I think about 2000 or 3000 baht

Yes this is normal for property rentals though. Covers damages etc.. fair enough, you should get it back at the end in your right hand, while your little teelac takes it out your left LOL

Is the deposit payable to confirm the booking? or when you arrive??

The deposit is to confirm your booking you will need to pay before you arrive by SWIFT payment (via a bank) the deposit is deducted from your total cost when you leave.
