Looks very nice , I like the seperate bedroom as i cant stand the AC blowing on me all night .

Anyone know if there is any way to have the 1 bedroom suite for less than the 24 500 weekley published rate ? Maybe if i walk in i can get a better rate, I should be there for 2 weeks .

Cheers

Looks an ok hotel god weekly rates i wonder if they sorrted the water pressure out :Crossfingers:

I was there a couple of weeks ago for about a week. 4 nights in a 1 b/r suite and the remaining nights in a studio (extended my stay and the 1 b/r was booked).

The 1 b/r suite was on the 7th floor overlooking the pool. Good water pressure and a reasonable view of the city. Would certainly suggest the higher floors for the view. 3,000 per night including a simple buffet breakfast, which by the way is offered all day. Good internet connecton and 250 baht for 10 hours or 1000 for 50 hours.

The studio was on the 4th floor, but the water pressure was terrible. Nice room, and for 2000 per night was a bargain.

Other points to note: Small gym to pump a bit of iron (not too heavy though), friendly reception staff (one very cute guest services girl that I would have liked to service), in room safes, comfortable beds, dvd players in room to test out the knock off dvds, fridge and kitchenette (first time in my life that I have ever used this word)... pretty much all you need.

I'll take the 1 b/r suite again on my next trip. The only downside for me was the small pool. The upside is from the pool you can regularly see naked ladies walking about on the balconies... :D

Cheers

Hi, I have stayed here also. Had a studio room, the shower was a complete pain in the arse, they have the wrong attacments to hold the shower head to the wall and all it does is spray water straight to the back of the bath tub. The studio room has only the shower over the bath tub, no separate walkin shower. I have has 3 rooms here on my stays so I know it was not just the one room. Also the wireless internet is very poor.

Staff are pretty unfriendly and I found some of the reception staff nothing other than surly.

I have stayed at the LK Metropole 3 or 4 times now, and recommend this place if money is no problem.

I stayed at the LK Metropole for two nights in November 2006. The rooms are well furnished and clean. Walk in rate was 2500 baht a night which is expensive, but after the horror of the previous night, I was not going to worry too much.

The biggest issue for me was that the rooms come with two single beds that are simply pushed together to form a double. Not ideal.
