Weather in late august?

Hiya all,

 

Just another newbe here asking a question that has probably been asked 100 times already.

 

Can anybody tell me what I should expect weatherwise in Pattaya during late august.

as every other month ... HOT

 

August is still rainy season but patts dont get as much rain as inland, but it still gets hit heavy now and again

Rain is sporadic. You never know when it's coming. In the dry season its usually short bursts on occasion. Rainy season it can piss down the whole time depending on where you are in the country.

Yes thats the commonest occurence, i.e. between 4 and 8 pm. It can rain at any time but more often than not it a short 2 hour deluge in the early evening.

im opposite. like rain, dont like heat.

 

august is still hot. run from a/c to a/c, but low season, so id put up with it.

BTW, why does it always rain in the afternoons everywhere in LOS? Why not in the morning? Where does the feckin rain hide in the all the time? It always seems like there are dark clouds coming in at about 4pm but where have they been before? Just lurking around somewhere? Any meteorologists here that can help???
