Accomodation w/ Private Entrance

Gents, I come with a question, prefaced by the promise that I have perused the forum to the best of my ability.

 

I have been to Pattaya only once, and stayed at the Dynasty Inn on Soi 13. The location, price and quality of room were all fine with me, but I found the staff to be a little surly at times. They also charged an extra 300 THB for each guest beyond the first, and had wireless internet only in the lobby.

 

So I am looking for recommendations that meet the following criteria:

 

1. Private access (i.e., no lobby to walk through, past the front desk staff).

2. No problem with whomever I want to have back in the room.

3. Wireless internet in the room

4. Otherwise decent, clean accommodation with hot water.

5. A private balcony is a plus.

6. In between beach road and 2nd ave, and between Soi 6 and Walking Street is ideal location wise.

7. 2,000 THB or under per night is ideal

 

If anyone can comment on places that meet or come close to this criteria, it would be much appreciated.

your better off getting a hotel for a night then scouting out some rooms above shops or motel style complexes, there are plenty around pattaya klang and the area behind 2nd road near big c.
