Has anyone been there and if so what did you think of it and where did you stay

I've been there twice mate, great place to go for a day trip to get away from the hussle and bussle of Pattaya, but I wouldn't consider it to be somewhere to stay the night in a hotel. It's the kind of place you would bring a girl as opposed to go to a bar and pick on up on the island I think.

 

The place has amazing beaches and wonderfull views perfect for getting holiday snaps to show people when you get home. There is a shooting range there, you can hire a motorbike/quad bike and go exploring the island and its always fun to rent a jet ski for half an hour or so.

 

To give you an idea of size you can drive from one end to the other in about 15/20 minutes tops.

my 2 yen - very nice place - never stayed there - caught a speedboat out there one morning when i was hung over. good place to relax recover. shot off a few rounds of a shotgun and handgun as well - that was a bit of a surprise to find a shooting range out there.
