travel from phuket to pattaya by bus

hey guys, i am plannign my trip soon to patts.tho have travelled a lot to patts but this time its i am travelling from Phuket to patts.does anyone have any idea about it.how do i travel from Phuket to patts by bus.hope anyone culd help me wiht it,

Plenty of buses from Phuket to BKK but it's a 12 hour trip and not my idea of fun.

why waste all that time on a bus. u can fly there for about 2600 baht with a short stop in samui. much less hassle

Im not sure whether the route is still operational but there is also a direct flight to U-Tapao (Pattaya) airport with bangkok airways.

Personally I always fly to bangkok and then go Pattaya by road. Its MUCH cheaper (about 2,000 baht cheaper) and not that much more time consuming to be honest.
