A Thief Stole Kitchen Utensils

A thief broke into a Hainanese rice shop in Khlong Luang, Pathumthani province and stole kitchen utensils such as soup pots, dishes, spoons and all the seasonings. The shop owner said sarcastically that the thief may of stole them to open her own shop.

PATHUMTHANI – December 10, 2013 [PDN]; Pol. Lt. Adisak Kotchasak (Investigation police on duty of Khlong Luang police station) was notified that there was an incident where a thief cut off the lock to a kitchen cabinet of the Hainanese chicken rice shop and stole all the kitchen utensils in the cabinet. The shop is located on the side of Bangkhan -Nong Suea road, Moo 6 Tambon Khlong Si, Amphur Khlong Luang, Pathumthani province. Therefore, the investigation police rushed to inspect at scene together with the detective police team of Khlong Luang police station.

At the incident the officers found Mr. Samoot Lueangpootthikulchai, aged 66, who lives at 151 Soi Phaholyothin 34, Senanikhom sub-district, Jatujak district, Bangkok was standing in front of his shop and told the police that he is the Hainanese chicken rice vendor but at 7.30 a.m. this morning he came to open the shop as usual but found that the chain and the lock of kitchen cabinet had been cut off and the soup pot, plates, spoons and forks, glasses, rice cooker, drinking water tank, tables, chairs, and various seasonings which totally worth more than10,000 THB had been stolen.

Mr. Samoot (the victim) also said that the street lamp at Bangkhan – Nongsuea road in front of Bangjak petrol pump had been broken for a long which made it easier for the thief to steal property. The victim said sarcastically that the thief may have stolen his kitchen utensils to open his own shop because he stole all of them even the seasonings. The police collected all evidences and the fingerprints and will inspect the CCTV footage in order to gather information to arrest the thief and prosecute him further according to Thai law.
