Unless your Muslim, can anyone shed some light for a visit there?  Why not just go to Krabi.  Te beaches are great and there is still some action.  Do the sights out-way the dangers?

I have searched for anything that mongers would like in Pattanai.  If you like the muslim holiday, then this your place.   No nightlife advertised on the web---most have been bombed out!
