School Bus Collides With Water Truck

A 6 wheeled water truck collided with a school bus injuring 26 students, 6 of them severely.

PATUMTHANI – December 3, 2013 [PDN]; at 07.30 am., Pol.Capt.Terd Harnnarong, detective officer of Nongsuea police station, was informed that a water truck had crashed into a school bus injuring lots of people, on Bangkhan Nongsuea, Klong 8-Nongsuea, moo 4, Bueangcham-or, Nongsuea, Patumthani.

At the crime scene, with Ruam Katanyu rescuers they found a 6 wheeled water truck, license plate numbers 99-0639, Bangkok,and a school bus 81-4148 , Patumthani, and the driver of the Nongsuea and Bueangba schools who had sustained a broken arm togetherwith the students ranging from 5-19years old, Miss Sirilak Wongpin, 19 years old, grade 12, Mr.Nontakarn Thongnueanim, 16 years old, grade 10, Mr.Ronrit Ritbandit, 15 years old, grade 9.

Mr.Arnon Tongnueanim, 14 years old, grade 9, Mr.Jirapan Sangtes, 14 years old grade 8, Mr.Adisorn Boonmee, Miss Supattra Ritbandit, grade 5, Miss Karnjana Teay-orn, Miss Nattha Duangkhao, Mr.Promporn Into, Mr.Parames Sawanha, Miss Waraporn Pamai, Miss Pakdiporn Rod-in, Pichet Namsa-ard, Nattawut Suosud, Pipat Nilpetch, Miss Lalitwalee Masawat, Sarawut Nagbut, Miss Ornchawee Nagbut, Miss Acharapannee Marksawas, Jeeranan Polnaku.

The water truck driver’s name was still unknown, and there Mr.Somporn Ditdee, 39 years old, who was the school bus driver was stuck in the bus, the rescuers helped him out and sent him to Thanyaburi hospital.

There were 6 students severely injured which were sent to Nongsuea hospital, and the water truck driver was sent to Klongluang hospital, but the cause of the crash was still being investigated.

curious what a bangkok plate "water truck" is carrying in Patumtani. I would do a chemical analysis on the tank contents if I was an investigating officer.
