I'm planning my first trip to Pattaya and this place sounded good. Right price looks clean and they said that they don't charge to return with visitors. But have any of you actually been there?

Yes, I stayed for 2 weeks. It's a good place and reasonably quiet despite

the center of Walking Street being about 100 meters down the soi.850 baht

for their rooms with a balcony...good value for the location.No breakfast though.

 

They have free wifi but I must warn it's not a secure network and someone

who is definately part of organised group has a phoney yahoo sign in website and

caught me....I had to spend 3 hours doing damage control once I regained control of

My account. I was almost stuck with $8000 usd in ebay junk that was being shipped

abroad.

That really blows! I'm not too worried about that though. I don't think that I'll be using the room for anything but a shag/crash pad. But thanks for the warning.

personally i didnt like it, for 1,000 baht i got a large luxurious room on soi yensabai only 5 minutes from Walking Street.

 

I found the rooms at the jasmine very basic and there was always a suspect smell. I also didnt like the location as its next to a ladyboy bar, and every time i left and arrived at the hotel, a couple of ladyboys would grope me and walk with me all the way into reception, asking when i was going to fuck them. Funny at first but got a bit tedious.

I talked to the landlord a few times and he's going to renovate

and open the goth bar as a gogo...not sure about litas...btw, I have

no Desire for lb's myself but they really never bothered me much

coming and going to the hotel.

That's not good at all, something different happened to me...funny

I was escorting my st down to the front desk when a rather

tall LB leaves a room and is just ahead of us going down the stairs.

 

Anyway these 2 guys are coming up the stairs and maybe he thinks all

3 of us are together, the guy winks at me and I didn't think much of it, I

had a really cute girl so that's what I figured he meant with his gesture.

 

A few days later i'm walking around in the afternnon alone and I pass those

2 guys again and the same guy winks at me. Now I know he's probably gay

and must mean "hey fella" lol.

 

Anyway I saw alot of ladyboys leaving the hotel usually unescorted so they're

probably not leaving that soi anytime soon, lot's of takers in the area.

I'm not into the ladyboy thing at all and I'm kinda weirded out by being close to a lb bar. I'm not homophobic but I have heard that they are real hard to detect sometimes and I have no urge to patronize them.

Has anybody else been to this place? It sounds like a lot of perks for such a cheap price. Are all of the amenities listed included in the price? Sorry to sound skeptical but I just want to be make sure its as good as it sounds. After all its gonna be my first trip. Thanks for the advice.

Im staying at Secrets this next trip i have... not because i hated the Jasmine hotel , but because i wanted some place different.

I never had much problems with the ladyboys down Soi BJ. They girls would look at me and smile and say stuff, but i just smiled and

nodded and went on my way..

I was there last July. My first time, and it was ok. Clean basic rooms. The BJ bar had some stunners. The WiFi sucks. Really bad. Not much noise, and centrally located. But this time I would consider in the Metro area.
