I have pointed this out to the owner of the bar and they basically tell me so what. All it takes is for 1 person who is not Pattaya savy to not check the ID and they can be setting themselves up for a huge fall.

 

I always tell my friend to check ID's when he takes a girl and he has had to tell the girl to go in the past as she was underage.

 

You would be amazed at how many 15, 16 and 17 year olds are working in soi's 7 and 8. ALWAYS check their ID.

I have some sympathy for a guy nailed for having sex with these girls. My guess is that they all said they were 18 or older. IMHO, not the same as guys nailing little girls and all. They should be dragged through the streets. To call the guy a pedo because he nailed a 15 and 17 year old is a little over the top. The 14 year old maybe, but as said above something doesn't seem right here. Could be one or more of the girls got busted for something else and offered up a falang in exchange for her own ass and then set the guy up.

 

My guess would be that half the guys that come here have nailed one 16-17 and never even knew it until way too late, if at all.

I have met girls that openly admit they use there sisters I.D. Infact i was with a girl when her mum phoned pressurising the girl i was with to give her I.D to her little sister so she could work.

 

I think it is so difficult to tell, i seen this girl that almost looked 13 working as a bar girl and i asked my bf how old she was and she said 31. I said WTF!

 

I think there is no real way of telling so i guess its best to do as many checks as possible, at least if the police turned up you could show them the I.D you seen in your defense. Not that your allowed a defense!!

Ignorance is no defence. If they are working bar (have to be 18) or SAY they are 18 that is no defence in law. It is up to him to be sure - if your not sure leave it alone.

 

There is a 17yo working in my local - the bar opens at 4 and they are queing up at 3 to be the first there when she arrives - she is always gone by 4.30. Sadly many guys just cant seem to resist it. I keep my mouth shut, maybe I shouldnt but I have learneed to mind my own business for the sake of safety here now.

Braveheart - I have my afternoon coffee at Starbucks. The two DVD stalls outside both have it all on VERY open display (I know because I had to drag my 11 yo daughter away from them a few days ago). The other day a group of (young) westerners walked past and glanced at the dvds then walked on. A few seconds later one of the girls aged about 23 came back - looked closer and ran off in horror. She came back with a BiB and showed them to him.

 

Next day they are all still there.

 

I have toyed with the idea of going to city hall as it would appear BiB may be getting paid. However experience in LOS over the last 4 years has taught me to avoid this kind of thing as you just never know whose toes you are stepping on. The only good thing is that I have NEVER actually seen anyone buy one - good job really as I would find it hard to keep my mouth shut if they did.

 

That actually makes it even more futile if they are not makng any money but dragging the reputation further into the gutter anyway.

Heckling them I could definitely do, unfortunately the urge to kick the living shit out of anyone that would buy that stuff would likely get the better of me. Normally I am extremely tolerant and believe in live and let live, to each their own and all those nice things. I draw the line at this stuff and have zero tolerance for it. If I had my way pedos and child molesters would never get a second chance to repeat their crimes after they have been caught and I don't mean life in prison. They can join Saddam Hussein in hell.
