Rival Teenagers Shoot 17-year-old

A group of rival teenage gangs were scuffling which lead to one of the gang members being shot. He was severely injured and was rushed to hospital.

PATTAYA – November 29, 2013 [PDN]; at 3.00 a.m. Pol. Capt. Suphan Sophee (Investigation police on duty of Pattaya city police station, Chonburi province) was notified that there was the groups of teenagers scuffling and one teenager was shot and severely injured he was sent to Banglamung hospital. The Incident occurred at the mansion in the middle of Soi Korphai 94, Pattaya, Moo 10, Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province, so he coordinated with the detective police team to rush to inspect at scene.

When the officers arrived at the emergency room they found the victim Mr. Surachet or Gop Thanormphong, aged 17, address 87/9 Moo 12 Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province, he had been shot in his epigastria area and the bullet pierced through his back severely injuring him. The doctor needed to perform initial treatment before sending him for further treatment at Chonburi hospital.

The police questioned a friend of the injured and he said that Mr. Surachet was shot by the friend of Mr. Jo who was the rival gang. Before the incident occurred Mr. Surachet’s group of friends collided with the back of Mr. Jo’s friend’s motorbike. Mr. Jo’s friends got very angry and scuffled with the group of Mr. Surachet’s friends at the mansion in Soi Korphai 94 then Mr. Jo’s friends took out a gun to shoot Mr. Surachet’s group but the bullet hit to Mr. Surachet or Gop and he fell down to the ground. Mr. Jo’s friends then fled the scene. Mr. Surachet’s friend could only remember a white Honda Wave 125 motorbike with the violet edges on the wheels.

After investigation the police made a note and recorded for evidence and sent the detective police team to detect for any additional clues of the group of trouble makers in order to arrest them to prosecute further according to Thai law.
