Karaoke man rapes 19-year-old woman

A 19-year-old woman notified the police that a male karaoke worker sent a decoy to act jealousy before he raped her in her room.

PATTAYA – November 28, 2013 [PDN]; at 2.00 a.m. Ms. Koy (alias), aged 19 went to notify with Pol. Lt. Wutthiphong Trakulwirattanti (investigation police on duty of Pattaya city police station, Chonburi province) that she was raped by Mr. Got (she didn’t know his real name and surname), aged 19, who works at Derm karaoke bar in Soi Korphai, south Pattaya. The incident occurred at her apartment in south Pattaya.

Ms. Koy said that before incident occurred, at approximately 12.00 a.m. on November 27, 2013 Ms. Nan told a lie to the housekeeper at her apartment that she leftt her phone in Ms. Koy’s room and asked for a key to open the room which at that time Ms. Koy was in the room. Ms. Nan blamed her that she went to karaoke shop and Ms. Nan also spoke to Mr. Got that works in a shop, after that Mr. Got came to her room while she was talking with Ms. Nan until Ms. Nan pretended that she could compromise with Ms. Koy and walked out from Ms. Koy’s room but Mr. Got stayed in her room and dragged into her and raped her and escaped. She then notified the police in order to arrest Mr. Got to prosecute him according to Thai law.

After initial investigation, the police made note record for evidence and let the victim go and get herself checked at the hospital then coordinated with the detective police team to follow up to arrest Mr. Got to prosecute further according to Thai law.
