Banglamung sheriff sent authorities and police to demolish Boutique Paradise hotel after the business entrepreneur disobeyed construction laws.

PATTAYA – November 26, 2013 [PDN]; At 9.30 a.m. Mr. Sakchai Taenghor (Banglamung sheriff) together with Mr. Weerawat Khakhai (Deputy Lord Mayor of Pattaya city) and Mr. Vittaya Hirinworachai (the supervisor of building controlling division of workmanship bureau, Pattaya city) sent forces of municipal officers, officers of workmanship bureau, public authorities and Pattaya city police, totaling more than 50 officers to go to the Boutique Paradise hotel in Soi VC, south Pattaya in order to demolish the part that had been constructed without permission.

Mr. Weerawat Khakhai revealed that the building was constructed with the violation of the building act 1979 that the the owner of the building had extended it by 3 stories-ferro-concrete building to be 7 stories without permission from the local officers which previously Pattaya city had issued the commandment notice to stop constructing it. They submitted a petition to ask for permission to construct and modify the building but the executives of the hotel ignored and disobeyed the notice therefore Pattaya city issued the notice to inform them it will have to be demolished

Mr. Sakchai Taenghor (Banglamung sheriff) revealed that the public authorities were coordinated by Pattaya city to bring forces of volunteer of Territorial Defense Department to assist the officers of workmanship bureau to demolish the building. On November 11, 2013 Pattaya city had sent officers to demolish the building but the owner of this building told that he will demolish the building with his own workers and promised that within 1 week he will submit the notice to the executives of Pattaya city to inform about the progress but he didn’t do anything at all and continued to construct further. This showed that the owner of building didn’t obey to the law of the public authorities which will not allow the hotel to be opened for service.
