2 Teenagers Sent to Juvenile Observation and Protection Centre

2 male teenagers who used baseball bats to beat an Italian tourist until he was severely injured and rob him of 500 THB where arrested and sent to a Juvenile Observation and Protection Centre in Prajeenburi province.

PRAJUABKHIRIKHAN – November 23, 2013 [PDN]; Pol. Lt. Col. Sanan Sirimongkholtharm (the expert investigation officer of Paknampran police station) together with Mr. Suriyan Sorin (Assistant Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand, Prajuabkhirikhan office) went to visit the injured victim Mr. Dominiko Franco, aged 34,from Italy at Huahin hospital, after he was assaulted by 2 male teenagers using baseball bats to beat and rob him in the area of Moo 5 Tambon Paknampran, Amphur Pranburi, Prajuabkhirikhan province on November 21, 2013. The police officers had already arrested the 2 assailants who confessed that they had beaten and robbed the Italian. Therefore, the police sent them to a Juvenile Observation and Protection Centre in Prajuabkhirikhan province.

The journalists reported that Mr. Franco could sit and speak and had wounds all over his body but his face was badly bruised so the doctors performed an X-ray and found that his skull was fractured so he was kept in hospital for observation.

Mr. Franco revealed that he was staying at a resort in Tambon Paknampran iwhere when he was attacked, he said that soon as he recovers he wants to go back to his home country as soon as possible. He was so glad that the police had arrested the assailants and he would like to thank the officers and the tourism business entrepreneurs that came to visit and support him.
