Teenagers Shoot Pub Doorman

A group of teenagers who were not allowed into a pub because they did not have their ID cards shot the doorman in the chest injuring him severely.

PATTAYA – November 21, 2013 [PDN]; At 4.00 a.m. Pol. Capt. Krittha Prathumkaew (investigation police on duty of Pattaya city police station, Chonburi province) was notified from Pattaya Memorial hospital that there was a man was shot and had treatment at the hospital. Incident occurred in front of The Phrea pub at Walking Street, south Pattaya, so he rushed to inspect at scene together with the detective police team.

When he arrived he found the injured man named Mr. Amornthep Jasanthia, aged 23, who is the security guard of The Phrea pub, he had been shot beneath his left breast and and his left arm. The officers investigated Mr. Roongsuriyan Harnthong, aged 27 (the security guard at the same place), said that before incident occurred there were 5-6 male teenagers who wanted to go inside the pub and Mr. Amornthep asked to check their identity cards but some of them didn’t have them therefore Mr. Amornthep didn’t allow them to go inside which made all teenagers angry. They then one of them pulled out a gun and shot Mr. Amornthep 1 time and he fell down on the ground so Mr. Roongsuriyan rushed to help him and sent him to hospital. All the all teenagers then fled on their motorbikes but Mr. Roongsuriyan remembered the motorbikes which were a Honda brand (but he didn’t know its model and color), license number JOR TOR THOR-247 Chonburi and for the other motorbike he could remember only the 3 digits of 725 but couldn’t remember for the alphabets section.
After investigation then the police made notes and recorded the evidence. The detective police team went to the CCTV at the incident point in order to arrest them to prosecute further according to Thai law.
