Drive By Shooting Of Motorbike Showroom

A big motorbike showroom which is located opposite the Highway Police Division on the sukhumvit road was shot at by 2 assailants as they rode passed on their motorbike.

PATTAYA – November 20, 2013 [PDN]; at 5.10 a.m. Pol. Lt. Col. Prasit Munsri (investigation officer of Pattaya city police station, Chonburi province) was notified that there had been a shooting at the showroom of Honda Big Wing which belongs to Mityon Pattaya Co., Ltd. Its located on the Sukhumvit road, south Pattaya.

Upon arriving at the incident the showroom which contains expensive big motorbikes the police found the front window of the showroom had sustained one bullet hole and the glass was fractured, but fortunately none of the bikes inside the show room were damaged.

Upon questioning Mr. Napha Lamlert, aged 56, who is the security guard of showroom he said that while he was on duty with his 1 friend, suddenly there were 2 men riding a motorbike on the opposite side of the road on the entrance route to Sattahip then the passenger who wore a white shirt shot at the front window of the showroom causing it to break and then shot again into the air before they fled the scene.

Initially, the police assumed that the culprits might be ex-employees that were fired from the company so they used a gun to seek revenge. However, the police will investigate the staff at showroom to see if they have had any problems. The police are now looking for the offenders which when arrested will be prosecuted according to Thai law.
