Eastiny Residence construction?

Hi guys,

I'm new to the board, planning my virgin trip to Pattaya. I have heard good things about the Eastiny Residence on soi 10, and I was ready to book, but as I was searching the net, I came across a booking agency website that had the following regarding this Eastiny:

 

"There is construction of condo in about 50m distance from the hotel. There will be noise disturbance in the period of Mar 01 - July 01, 2008"

 

That would obviously put a major damper on things for me if true. I emailed the hotel directly and no response. I was wondering if anyone has been around soi 10 recently (or are in Pattaya now), and can confirm this as true or not?
