Thieves smashed windows of 2 teachers cars parked in car park and property was stolen as they sat and enjoyed a welcoming party for a new teacher.

PATTAYA – November 19, 2013 [PDN]: at 1:00 am, journalists reported that there was an incident where thieves had smashed windows on 2 cars and stole items from the cars in the area of Tum Plaphao restaurant, on Sukhumwit Rd. inbound, Moo 12 , Nong Prue , Banglamung , Chonburi , Pol.Capt. Somchai Chaikananukul, vice suppression inspector, of Pattaya police station, brought forces to check the scene with detectives.

At the scene the police found teachers of a well-known school in Pattaya with their cars that had been broken into. The first was a new bronze Honda Civic, license plate number Kor Nor – 3341, Nakorn Ratchaseema, with a smashed window, the owner told police that a notebook and some documents had gone missing from the left back seat.

The second car was a bronze Mitsubishi Lancer sedan, Por Chor 4762, the left back window was smashed and a camera was missing.

The police were told by the teachers that they were at a welcoming party for a new teacher at the restaurant, they had parked their cars on the car park but it was dark when the party had finished, they then noticed the windows on 2 cars had been smashed.

After the police had checked the scene, the teachers said they did not want to sue the thieves so the police did not file a report. The police suspected that they had to be more than one person and they may be from the same gang because there had been a similar crime in the area before. However the police want to warn people who park their cars in dark unlit area
