Ive just sold my cr250 after i found out that i dont bounce as well as i did when i was 17! I had a "slight" accident almost 2 1/2 years ago (tibular, femur, 4 ribs, collar bone, 3 toes and 2 cruciate ligaments) and i think i was kidding myself that i would ride it in anger again......so after 2 years sat in the garage i sold it.

 

Be careful on those crossers they fucking bite!! lol

 

Love your tourer though!!

The race bike before the ground-sky-ground-sky-ground-sky-helicopter-ride incident (broken neck-t6, left wrist, right wrist, left elbow, shoulder, cracked 3 ribs and no sense of humor for 4 days) - but I could still wipe my own arse!

Crash update:::: Yes fell off yesterday, slow stupid one, as I was turning off the track I looked around to make sure no one was coming up fast behind me, as I turned back the front tyre caught a small bit of wood, enough to throw the front end off a little but as I was looking around no time to catch it, so dropped it and caught the handlebars on the way thru, result 1 corked thigh 1 bruised inner thigh and UGGG bent/scratched up my friends bike a little.

 

Still way better off, last night there was a round of the Australian Supercross title and 2 guys colided mid air 2 or 3 metres up and cartwheeled their bikes, one walked away just, other off to hospital but not serious.

The cross bikes are nice too...I always had a thing for cross/supermotard, even if it is difficult to find place for dirt riding here...supersport are beautiful but sitting on the R1 of my brother feel so strange

I was a very very poor bikedriver 7 years ago on a RMX250 and did not do any riding since, but just biking in the woods near Patong on a small scooter has revived some good memories and hooked me again: Now I just buy myself a WR450 (i like blue ), a crazy impulsive buy, must be getting old...I just have to find cheap supermotard wheels, and try to survive the time it takes me to get up to the bike level, it will be a long time if ever ;-)

Here is my 1957 Magneet Super Sport.

 

The bike is Dutch built and has a Sachs 49cc motor.

 

I havent seen any others like it in New Zealand so could be a rare model.

 

I got it from a bloke that had 95% restored it but got short of cash one year at xmas. He was complaining he couldnt afford to buy his kids presents so I pulled out $800 NZ and he took it.

 

I think it was a good buy. Thats about 16000 Bhat in todays exchange rate.

 

Just needs a new saddle and its Done.

 

Any offers????????

 

Need to buy an airfare or two to Pattaya!!!!
