Drunken Father Stabs His Son To Death

A drunken father stabbed his own son to death after he tried to intervene while his mom and dad where quarrelling.

PATTAYA – November 3, 2013 [PDN]; At 6.00 a.m. Pol. Lt. Col. Issaranuwat Jongaphichaikul (investigation officer of Banglamung police station, Chonburi province) was notified that there was an incident where a father used a knife to stab his own son to death.The Incident occurred at 241/33, Chalita village, Soi Bangkalo 99, Moo 6 Tambon Na Kleua, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province.

At the house the police found the father waiting for the police. He is identified as Mr. Uayporn Lengjamnong, aged 41. On inspecting the house they found the knife on the floor an collected it for evidence. Upon questioning Mr. Uayporn he confessed to stabbing his son because during the quarrel with his wife the son attacked him with an iron strip, so in self defense he stabbed him. He then waited for the police to arrive.

Then body of Mr. Kittichat Lengjamnong, aged 19, was confirmed by Banglamung Hospital that he had sustained two fatal stab wounds one under his left breast, and one to the stomach. Mr. Anusorn Lengjamnong, aged 20, the victim’s older brother confirmed that while he was sleeping on the second floor of the house he heard his younger brother quarreling with his father so he went to see what all the commotion was all about, he then found his younger brother lying in a pile of blood so he quickly sent him to Banglamung hospital where he later died. He told the police his younger brother was very polite and studied very hard, he also said his father was a heavy drinker and abused his mother when he got drunk. The younger brother could not bare this anymore so he tried to protect his mother resulting in him getting fatally stabbed.

After inspecting the scene the police detained the father and transported him to the police station where he will be held awaiting a court appearance and prosecuted according to Thai law.
