Man Rapes 11-Year Old Stepdaughter And Arrested

An Australian man who raped his 11-year old stepdaughter was arrested after the girl couldn’t endure it anymore and asked for assistance from the neighbours, who notified the police of this terrible sexual crime. He has a previous history and has illegally overstayed his visa by 4-years.

PATTAYA – October 31, 2013 [PDN]; Police Captain Arnon Infong (the Deputy Inspector who was acting to help the Centre of Protection For Children, Teenagers and Women, (in Provincial Police Section-2) and Police Lieutenant Deputy Inspector Warakorn Bannasit, mobilized forces of a police team. Armed with an arrest warrant from the Pattaya Provincial Court at (dated October 31, 2013), they arrested Mr. Ben Agame Ofar, aged 50, registered as being of Australia nationality, who is the defendant. This case is for the sexual harassment a girl aged only 11- years old, while he was about to leave the room No. 208 at ‘Karina Mansion’ in Soi Nern Plubwan, in Tambon Nong Prue, Pattaya City. An exhibit of evidence is body lotion that was used as a lubricant during the sexual crime.

Police Captain Arnon Infong said that Police Lieutenant Colonel Omsin Sukkarnkha (an expert investigation officer of ‘The Centre of Protection for Children, Teenagers and Women) received the complaint from local people. This was that there was an 11 years old girl named “Kai” (alias), who is a5th year student of primary education in a school in Pattaya City, who came to ask for assistance. She told police that she was raped four times in the house of Mr. Ben Agame Ofar, who is her stepfather and that each time he would use the body lotion as a lubricant. She went on to say that when he finished raping her, he threatened her not to tell anyone and the girl didn’t dare tell her Thai mother, because she was afraid that her mother will scold at her. Finally she couldn’t endure the crime anymore, so she asked for assistance from the neighbours.

After Police Lieutenant Colonel Omsin Sukkarnkha knew about this matter, he commanded the detective police team from the Centre of Protection For Children, Teenagers and Women, to investigate this matter, until they got information and evidence that Mr. Ben Agame Ofar really did rape his stepdaughter. They also found out that this man registered as being of Australia nationality was associated with the girl’s mother for only 6-months and moreover, he had a history of sexual harassment with many girls aged under 15-years old in Pattaya City.

However, after investigations, the defendant still denied the allegations of raping and causing sexual harassment to the young girl, but he accepted that his passport has already expired, so he stayed in Thailand illegally and without the permission of the Thai Immigration Department. The police have the exact and strong evidence from witnesses, so initially the police restrained him to be sent to the investigation officer of Nong Prue Police Station in Amphur Banglamung. He will be prosecuted further, according to Thai law and everyone is hoping that his sentence will be severe for this terrible sexual crime.
