A Russian man was reported to have fallen off a bridge in Pattaya after he had crashed his motorbike into the walls of the bridge causing him to fall off the bridge. He was said to have been severely injured.

PATTAYA – October 29,2013 [PDN]; Sawangboriboon Rescuers were called to a bridge leading to the Pattaya-Sattahip motorway after a foreign man was to have fallen off the bridge that was about 4.5 metres tall following a crash into the walls of the bridge.

The Russian was named Mr. Alex Gyzeev, 18. He was found lying in pain just under the bridge where he collided, he was immediately transported to the Bangkok-Pattaya Hospital to receive emergency treatment.
According to Mr. Alex’s friend who was also from Russia it was known that Mr. Alex had rented a Honda CB 500F motorbike, which was able to reach high speeds. Police suspect that Mr. Alex overshot the curve which eventually led to crash and injury.
