A daughter conspired with her husband and a friend, in a plan to rob her own mother but got arrested in a gold shop, then confessed that she wanted to help their friend who was 70,000 BHT in debt.

CHIANGMAI – October 28, 2013 [PDN]; – The police of Changphueak Provincial Police at Muang in Chiangmai City, called a press conference to announce that they had caught , 23-year old Miss Yenmao, with her 36-year old husband Mr. Somjai Onlamoon, from Si saket, plus their 35 years old friend, Mr. Shanatip Tainkam, with two gold necklaces, a gold wrist band, two gold rings and 21,000 THB (Thai baht) in cash, after she conspired with her husband and their friend to rob her own mother.

Miss Yenmao confessed that Mr. Shanatip , (a friend of her husband), owed money to ‘loan sharks’ for 70,000 THB, and was in trouble. She knew that her mother had plenty of properties, so she planned to help the friend, by stealing jewellery from her mum and then selling the items at a gold shop, but instead she got arrested.

This incident happened in the morning, while the victim, Mrs. Ming, was on the passenger seat of a motorcycle that her husband was driving, before she met the robber, who pretended that his car had failed. She parked to give some help, but when she got distracted, this low class thief took the opportunity to snatch her hand bag, and then speedily drove away. Police take such robberies very seriously in Thailand and to make matters worse, the criminals will be dealt with very severely, as the woman was stealing from her very own mother.
