The Superintendent of Pattaya City Police Station inspected the entertainment centres in the area, after the Director-General of the National Police Bureau issued a urgent notice asking for cooperation from all entertainment centres to refrain from arranging any banquets and festivals for the duration of 15 days. Furthermore, flags are to be flown at half-mast for 3-days for the mourning of Nyanasamvara Suvaddhana, and if anyone disobeys the order, the police can arrest them immediately. Somdet Phra Nyanasamvara, was the 19th monk since the reign of Rama-I, to hold the title of Supreme Buddhist Patriarch (Sangharaja) of Thailand.

From an inspection in the area, Pattaya police officers found that some entertainment spots disobeyed and let the singers and musicians play music to entertain Thai and foreign customers, so the police made arrests at two entertainment spots, but most of the entertainment spots had cooperated very well. However, the officers will strictly inspect all areas, and if anyone is found disobeying the order, then the police will arrest them immediately.
