PATHUMTHANI – October 22, 2013 [PDN]; The police of Khookhot police station, in Pathumthani Province were notified by a massage shop, that a male Thai customer tried to molest and assault one of their young female massagers in order to rape her, so a police team rushed to investigate the crime scene.

When the police officers arrived in front of the massage shop, they found a Thai man, aged approximated 25-30 years old, who was drunk and had wounds at his body and head. The owner of this massage shop stated that before this incident occurred he heard one of his female massagers shouting for assistance, so he ran to investigate and found a drunken male customer molesting and assaulting his young female massager, so he and the other staffs tried to assist her.

Ms. ‘Aey’ (alias), aged 18 years old, who was the victim, said that before the incident occurred, this male customer came to use the service of massaging for 2-hours and when finished massaging, she was going to do the billing for the massage service charge. Suddenly this customer molested her and punched her in the stomach several times until she had considerable pain, but she resisted, also trying to scream and fight with him. Furthermore, this lustful man grabbed her head and hit it on the wall, then he ran downstairs to flee from the shop, but he was captured by the other staff members and trampled until he lost consciousness.

Initially, the police restrained this man in order to prosecute him, according to Thai law, with the allegation of trying to rape young female massager. However the police, have to wait for the results of a medical examination on the body of Ms. ‘Aey’ (the victim), which may result in the police charging the alleged criminal with assaulting another person and in addition, causing physical injuries to her.
