Primary roads in Pattaya where flooded after a heavy rainfall that lasted until the morning. Low vehicles were not able to pass, as the water has risen simply to high. The heavy rainfall was from the havoc of Typhoon “Naree” that hit the east of Thailand since Monday.

PATTAYA – October 16, 2013 [PDN]; Roads in South and Central Pattaya were said to have been flooded due to the heavy rainfalls that didn’t stop until the morning of October 16. Smaller vehicles were not able to pass the affected areas as the water was too high. Fortunately, the rain has stopped and had flown into the sea.

Two ways to sort this problem out!  Stop it raining or make better drains.

In any other place, the suggestions of bigger drains would be good but maybe not in Pattaya. Fairly heavy rain the other night and my mates walking by the side of a 7/11 and there's two girls from the shop doing their best to get rid of several large black bin bags down the drain to get rid of crap WTF. Give em bigger drains and you'll just put the shit cart guys outta work.
