Tropical Storm â€œNARIâ€�

Typhoon “NARI” made landfall at Da Nang, Vietnam and downgrade to tropical storm, tropical depression and low pressure cell quickly, at 04.00 a.m. the storm covers northeastern Thailand near Mukdahan, Amnat Charoen and Ubon Ratchathani.

THAILAND – October 16,2013; More rain and isolated heavy rain is expected with windy over the Northeast and the East of Thailand. Significant impacts are expected to occur in the following provinces, namely, Mukdahan, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram, Surin, Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani during 1-2 days.

During 16-19 October, another rather strong high pressure from China will extend to upper Thailand leading to cool weather with 5-8 ?C drop and in the North and the upper Northeast.

Minimum temperature 20-22 ?C. Maximum temperature 30-31 ?C. Cold in the mountain top, minimum temperature 12-15 ?C. Northerly winds 20-35 km/hr.

Central Thailand Partly cloudy. Scattered rain mostly in Saraburi, Kanchanburi, Ratchaburi and Samut SongKhrm. Minimum temperature 24-25 ?C. Maximum temperature 34-35 ?C. Cool in the mountainous areas, minimum temperature 18-22 ?C. Northerly winds 10-30 km/hr.

Eastern Thailand Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain mainly in Sa Keao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-25 ?C. Maximum temperature 32-34 ?C. Cool in the mountainous areas, minimum temperature 18-22 ?C. Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and about 2 meters in thundershower areas.

Southern Thailand East Coast Cloudy with scattered thundershowers mostly in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-25 ?C. Maximum temperature 33-34 ?C. Westerly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter.

Southern Thailand West Coast Cloudy with scattered thundershowers mostly in Phang-nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 21-25 ?C. Maximum temperature 31-32 ?C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and about 2 meters in thundershower areas.
