Calling from English mobile to Thai Mobile

Does anyone know any numbers or app that I could use to call a Thai mobile, would also be handy if could send SMS for cheap or free,

On Android I use a mixture of Whatsapp for messaging/chatting, Line for calls and messaging/chatting and Voip for calls (on my voip plan calls to various countries including Thailand are free and also get 25 SMS free ... no idea what voip plans are available in the UK).

If you are calling from the uk try www.localphone.co.uk around 1pence per min and usually good quality call been using them for last4 years they give you a replacement local uk no for each of your registred thai nos so can call for cheap

If you do not want to use a third party option mentioned in previous posts and want security and accountability, I currently use EE/Orange camel, 20p min talk time 15p per page text/sms.

Get a free giff gaff SIM card & the calls are 3p a minute to a Thai mobile. If you've both got smart phones viber is free if you've a wifi or 3G connection. As is Skype, tango & whatsapp.

I still use the Skype function on my phone even though I live in Thailand because its free (im from Yorkshire   )

I have money in my Skype account and can call another Skype member phone for free but you have to pay if you call a non Skype member, But cheaper than normal rate.

 

I have never seen this 'monthly add-on' . I have Skype on my new S3 (copy) but never tried to use it yet. Do you have to pay AIS.
