A witness Mr. Phirat Roongrueng , 46 years old who is a motorcycle taxi driver number 8 claims that before the accident seven or eight guys, one of them was called ‘Ud’ the head gang at Soi Photisarn walked towards Mr.Samran who was sitting at the motorcycle taxi area. Mr. Ud asked Mr. Samran “who was the one who bought the topic of the previous motorcycle taxis fight”? Few weeks ago Mr.Ud and his guys tried to open a new motorcycle taxi stand which had problems with the current motorcycle taxi stand and therefore got into a fight. Mr.Samran who had not the slightest clue did not answer the question, and was beaten harshly. The gang then moved to attack Mr.Somnuk, motorcycle taxi number 2 who was playing snooker with his friends, hundred meters away from the first destination.

Mr.Somnuk, the victim confessed that he was playing pool with his friends and suddenly a gang of guys started attacking him and ran away after. After some time he heard that his friend Mr.Samran was beaten until death by the same gang of guys therefore ran towards the accident scene. He claims that Mr.Samran did not have any problems or enmity with anyone. Usually after work, he would come to the taxi stand area, it is unexpected that he would get so unlucky stated Mr. Sonmnuk.

More thai on thai violence. Seems that the guy who was killed wasn't even a motorbike taxi driver, but a friend who drank with them, and got beaten by rivals.

Another reason not to get into a dispute with the motorbike taxi guys.
