Script errors when pages loading?

Over the last couple of weeks, I have found that when a page with photo's is loading, it will stop and lock up I/E, and give a notice that a script error in java is loading slowly. Once it's locked up, the only way to fix it is to close the window (with difficulty) and open a new one and come back into the site.

This doesn't happen with everything I look at, but currently it's several times per session.

I have used I/E exclusively for years on this site with no problems, so this is a little puzzling.

Anyone have any suggestions besides changing browsers?

You can try the suggestions in the below article by Microsoft. 

 

Presumably you've ruled out the usual suspects?

 

1. Recent visit to malware site posing as something else? Malwarebytes paid version will alert you of these.

2. Recently installed something? 

3. Did NOT install something: Windows/IE patches, etc.
