Local Vendor Dies Due To A Car Accident

University student driving a car runs over a local vendor causing her body to tear into three pieces. The driver and other passengers in the car have received severe injuries.

PATTAYA- September 21, 2013 [PDN];at 5:30 AM, Banglamung police station was notified about a road accident at the intersection in Lonpoo area. According to reports, several injuries and one death have been identified.

At the scene of the accident in front of Shell petrol station a Honda Civic hybrid white in color license number 6597 Bangkok was found completely crushed. The driver of the car Mr.Supnat chutiwa 21 years old studying in his third year, majoring in Logistics at the Burapha University was found injured. In the car were four other friends who also received injuries. The rescue Department performed first aid before transferring them to the Bangkok Pattaya hospital for treatment.

According to reports there has been one death, Mrs.Yawadee Satang, 61-year-old a local vendor at the Longpo fresh market. Her body was severely injured and tore into three pieces from the accident. Three other cars that were parked on the road side were also damaged. The cars belong to tenants of The Resident apartment, another Nissan pickup was also hit which belong to a local resident license plate number 5496 Chonburi. A total of four vehicles have them damaged, worth many hundred thousand baht.

Mrs. Lamchuan Katurom, 52 years old owner of the Nissan pickup truck claims that while driving to her workplace she stopped at the accident scene and after she heard the bang on her pickup truck. Before going down to see what happened she witnessed the dead body of the local vendor near her truck. Shortly after that the rescue team assisted those injured to the hospital.

After investigations, two alcohol bottles were found in Mr.Supnat’s car the driver of the Nissan hybrid, it is believed that Mr.Supnat, had been drinking and driving at a very fast speed. At the same time the 61-year-old vendor was crossing the street to sell her product at the local market. Unfortunately, the car that was driving in a high-speed was unable to break and therefore ran over the innocent vendor and also crashed into a other cars parked on the roadside. The CCTV footage of the apartment nearby the incident scene will provide as evidence.
