At a logistics company in Rayong, 250 amphetamine tablets was found in a worker’s room. The drug dealer confessed selling these drugs to raise money to treat her cervical cancer.

SATTAHIP – September 19, 2013 [PDN]; Police planned to spy on a drug dealer and however was able to catch Ms.Riam Uthaisiri, age 59, who is charged for -type 1 drug possession and for sales of 215 amphetamine tablets.

Sattahip offical Mr.Phawat Saetmukda , claims that they received this report from a 10 wheel truck driver who often buy drugs from this dealer. The dealer would sell the drugs for 200 baht per tablet. The police however made an order of one tablet, while this dealer arrived to deliver the drugs the police were able to catch the dealer and after investigating found 214 amphetamine tablets hidden in draws and pant pockets. The drugs have now been confiscated as evidence.

After investigating the suspect confessed that she has been selling drugs for the past year and she gets her supplies from a major agent named Pon, residing in Chonburi. The latest batch that she bought was four packets consisting of 800 amphetamine tablets,a total worth 80,000 baht before selling it to receive a good profit to help raise money for her cervical cancer treatment.
