Agoda points, what they worth?

On my last holiday in pattaya I used Agoda to book at the august suites, everything went very smoothly and I would definitely use them again, probably on my next trip next year.

What I want to know is how much these agoda points you earn are worth.I assume you get a percentage off your next booking.I have accumulated 500 Agoda points so just wondering what that equates to.

thanks.

About 1 Dollar ...

I take it you have to collect thousands of them to make any savings then?

your right , if you go two or three times a year might be worth it ,

otherwise shop around or book direct probly cheaper .

I spent 2 months travelling round earlier this year and the points did add up and I got a few free nights out of it...it's effectively a 3-7% rebate although not usable until 30 days after you 'earn' them.

Yep , i have booked a lot of hotels through Agoda last year and became a premium

member what gives you an effective discount of 7% on your future bookings .

Normal members get 4% effective discount .

10.000 points is worth 20$ .

Thanks for the replies,as i will probably only be using agoda potentially once a year, I`d better forget about any benefits then.

cheers.

I only use agoda when booking hotels in Thailand and the points  certainly add up..I had about 80,000 points  (about 14,000 = $25) at one time and used them to book for a stay in BKK...j.

I've booked a few times with Agoda and recieved the points.

At the time I thought it was a lot but after researching it was nothing.

If you are travelling a lot and booking a lot then perhaps it's worth it in the long run.

The Loyalty points on Agoda can be very worthwhile - but yes, more so if you are a frequent traveler. They can be used worldwide not only in Pattaya.

I get around 6 or 7 free nights a year usually using them.
