International Arm Wrestling Championship

The 10th International Arm Wrestling Championship was held at Royal Garden Plaza

PATTAYA – September 15,2013[PDN]; Deputy Mayor Ronakit Eksingh and director of Royal Garden Plaza Mr. Somporn Nakseetorng presided over the 10th International Arm Wrestling Championship that was held on the ground floor at Royal Garden Plaza. The event included wrestlers and local and foreign tourists.

Mr. Somporn claims that this year is the tenth year for this international championship and each year the goal is to search for the best wrestler. As for this year the competition is divided into three categories 1. Not more than 75 kg 2. Not more than 85 kg 3. 85 kg and above. The judges are from the committee of body building Association.

Each year the winners will get price money of 50,000 baht along with a trophy and the runners up will get 15,000 baht. Other than this two other awards which are Mr. Perfect Muscle Man and Popular Vote are also given. As on the 15th September young male and female muscle contest is held by the Body Building Association and the Fitness Association of Thailand, to search for the best athletic body.

For the category not more than 75 kgs Mr.Sunthiwat,22 years old arm wrestler from last year had never lost anyone in the finals, he’s held the champion position and received price money of 50,000 baht and a trophy.

Mr.Arturs Dorohous, from Latvia winner of the 2nd category, not more than 85 kgs. As for the winner of the first category more than 85kgs will receive price money of 100,000 baht and a trophy.
