Solo Convenience Store Robbery in Bangkok

A convenience store in Bangkok was robbed a single robber. Police couldn't retrieve CCTV footage as the system wasn't working.

BANGKOK – September 14, 2013 [PDN]; At 1.00 a.m. Rartburana Police were informed that a solo robbery happened at a 7-11 store. As soon as the robbery was reported, a police team was immediately dispatched to the scene.

At the scene police 20 year-old Kamonthip Janthong, the store’s clerk. She described the robber as a stocky man that is about 160 cm tall. She said that the robber had used a knife as his weapon of choice. He was able to loot about 5,000 THB off the store before escaping.

Police are having a hard time tracking and identifying the man as the CCTV system was broken, making the investigation even more difficult. However, police are working hard to find the robber.
