I ve checked the rates and it seems decent... Any opinion about it?

Good hotel, i like it. Nice location to, easy to get where ever you want to go.

2 nice swimming pools on the roof.

What do u mean for decent rates?

Till last year I used to stay there in a superior room wing C for about 1200/1300 bath and IMO was a fair rate but last month they asked same rate for a standard (and older) room.

Superior Room "C Wing" in 1200 or 1300 BHT is not possible. Prices rose rapidly after renovation and new rooms BHT is 1500 and above for more than a year. I'm sorry, but the credibility of your post I do not believe so. If this is the low season price pushes under 1,400 BHT very difficult and only at very long stay (month and a half or longer).

I would not blame you. It was a promotion event and the lowest season. September is really the weakest month. O.K. In addition, you are probably good at bargaining prices. You were right. I'll buy you a room only through your person.

It's an OK hotel.

I stayed there several times pre-renovation.

In those days Sois 7 & 8 were really bouncing.

 

Now their prices have gone up, and that area not nearly so good.

I stay LK Metro area now (at half the price).

agree , used to stay there few years ago paying 800 a night then , no

balconies on old wing , best feature is roof top pool and bar , not worth

1200+ when can get better for less in buakhao area .

why not better area now , larger hotels in this area have been expensive

for a long time , plenty of cheap options though .

flipper is so so hotel. weakest point is no wi fi and cold breakfast although they have a nice big spread to choose from. standard and superior rooms dont have safe as well and the safes in restaurant can be operated just before 9 pm. too early in pattaya...

Will be staying there from Oct 15 - 22. Yes soi 7 & 8 has dead down not like the good old days.

But I still like staying there and it's just a short walk to get to Central Festival Shopping Center.
