Girl Falls Off The BTS Station

A 36-year-old girl had an appointment with a friend who has just returned from overseas. Unfortunately she fell off the BTS station her body was severely injury. The sister of the deceased claim that her sister had probably slipped due to heavy rain, she believes that it could have not been a suicide.

BANGKOK– September 12, 2013 [PDN]; at 9 AM police received reports about a girl who accidentally fell off the BTS and died. The body of Mrs. May Somphong 36 years old is now taken for autopsy, she resides at 149 Taweewattana. She does a normal daily job , but unfortunately fell at BTS station, Phrakhanong . Her body was injured on 11th September in the middle of the night and was rushed to the hospital. The staff at the rescue center had taken her to the hospital and was taken to the ICU but unfortunately her injury was too severe to be able to save her life and she died in the morning of September 12.

Mrs. Phanawan Samphong, 32 years old sister of the deceased reported that her sister was going to meet a friend who had just returned from overseas. She had taken the BTS train at Phrakhanong Station, at that time it was raining heavily and she lost track of her friend. Her friend tried searching from her until a call from the hospital came informing that her friend had met with an accident, by falling off the BTS Station. She confessed that at the scene nobody had witnessed her fall and she believed that her sister would not have committed suicide because she had no problems. She thinks that it could have been that she slipped off and fell.

The doctor at Kuainamthai Hospital, the hospital where the deceased was admitted claims that she was admitted to the hospital at midnight she was severely injury with severe swelling in her brain, broken collar bone, broken right wrist. The doctor had to resuscitate her before transferring her to the ICU but unfortunately she died at 9 AM. Her body will now be taken for autopsy at the department of forensic medicine at Chulongkorn Hospital. The staffs are now looking at the CCTV camera to see the reason behind her fall from the BTS station.
