Depressed And Devastated Father Dies

Father devastated after hearing that his son has passed away due to a heart attack. Father’s unbearable pain made him a victim of depression and eventually he fell and died.

SATTAHIP – September 12, 2013 [PDN]; police department received a report of a foreigner who died at 300/90 Moo 6 Bang Saray Sattahip Chonburi, investigators along with rescuers from Siamrochanthamassathan foundation rush to identify and investigate the deceased.

At the scene of incident the body of Mr Anthony, 64 years old the former British railway worker was lying on the bed dead with his eyes open, wearing just pants. After a physical checkup no wounds were found on his body and there is no evidence of murder.

Thongnang Mckay, 49 years old the wife of the deceased reported that they had been married for 13 years. After Mr. Anthony retired they decided to buy a house and settle in Thailand. Recently Mr. Anthony son with his first wife who was 43 years old died due to a heart attack and therefore Mr. Anthony had to travel back to his country to attend his son’s funeral. After he returned from his country he started going into depression, he was unable to sleep or eat, he was devastating and therefore eventually died. She reported that she did not expect him to go like this especially after spending 13 years together.

After investigation police believes that Mr. Anthony died due to health issues and not from murder. Nonetheless his body will be sent for autopsy and the results will be reported to the embassy so that his funeral could be done.

Very sad. If he still lived in UK maybe he could have been helped with anti-depressant medication by his GP. Is it easy to get diagnosis and treatment for depression in los?

At least he died in LOS, Rather than back home in UK. Rest In Peace Mr Anthony McKay.
