Fleeing American Arrested In Udon Thani Province

Udon Thani Immigration Officers were able to arrest an American who fled from the USA to Thailand from a child-abuse case.

UDON THANI – September 6, 2013 [PDN]; At the Udon Thani Immigration Bureau headquarters, police announced the arrest Mr. Shawn Michael Matthews, aged 41, an American national. He was reported to have been fleeing from a child-abuse case in Utah, USA.

He was arrested at his house after had carefully planned out an arrest plan.

Police are now charging the man for staying in Thailand without a visa. The Immigration Bureau are now contacting the US embassy in order to extradite him to the US.
