Woman Robbed By 2 Men At Morning Market In South Pattaya

A woman was looted by 2 men in the early hours of September 5. The looters were able to get away with her cash money and gold.

PATTAYA – September 5, 2013 [PDN]; Mrs. Wirawan Buranasan, aged 47, a cook for a well-known restaurant in Pattaya filed a reported to Pattaya Police after she was looted by two looters in South Pattaya.

Mrs. Wirawan revealed that as she was walking at the Wat Chai morning market, two men suddenly pointed a gun at her, she said that she was told to stay calm or else she would be shot. The gunman’s accomplice swiftly ripped of her gold necklace, bracelet and rings. Her handbag that contained over 28,000 THB was also robbed off her. As soon as the two criminals ran away and escaped, Mrs. Wirawan immediately ran off asked local people to run after them. Unfortunately, the criminals were able to freely escape.

Police have now filed a case and will now try to further investigate by inspecting CCTV footage in hopes to identify the two criminals that were expected to be local teenagers.
