Prisoner Cuts Off Finger To Receive Treatment At Hospital

A Laotian inmate in Ubon Ratchatani horrendously chopped his pinky in hopes to receive at a hospital. Drug packets were found with him after a friend brought a snack after a visit.

UBON RATCHATANI – August 30, 2013 [PDN]; a 32 year-old Laotian prisoner who was imprisoned from a drug-related case. He was sent to the Sampasitprasong Hospital after he had intentionally chopped off his finger using a sharp object.

A nurse who had took away a snack bag off him after he was strictly to not eat anything until his stitching operation has completed. She was said to have found 3 packets wrapped in tape and wires concealed within the snack bag.

Over 600 pills of illegal drugs were found and about 5 grams of crystal meth was found. The Laotian swiftly refused that he knew the man that brought the snack bag him

Police are now further investigating and will try to find out the identity of the man who had brought the snack bag containing the drugs to the prisoner.
