You will find everything you need to know about local golf on this site, and if your staying a while it's well worth becoming a member.

To engage in the arrant pedantry of egregious sesquipedalianism (as in this sentence) is not communication, it's showing off.

I played Bangphra Internatioanl at it was something like 1000baht a round, if you were a memeber of Pattaya Sports Club it was 600baht , so its well worth the memebrship fee of 300baht

Could you tell me the green fees you paid? How did you get to the courses? Any other info would be appreciated.

Thanks

St Andrews 2000 in my opinion the best in the area

The new Siam Country Club course is excellent, the only problems being, it's expensive, you can only have one golfer to a buggy and they are not allowed off the concrete pathway that is only on one side of the fairway. Your better off walking, it's quicker.

a golf course that's close to pattaya, well priced and yet in top shape is Phoenix golf course.. about 20mins drive. 27 holes, tricky greens, great facility.

I highly recommend it.

Good golfing

Great info on golf in Pattaya. Thanks guys!

I will be in town in early Sep and am considering playing some golf. How are the quality of the rental clubs? I've also had some friends play golf in the Phillipines and they told me often when you playing nicer courses in the Asia you will have an entire entourage of caddies, umbrella girls, forecaddies, etc. with you. Is this typical in Pattaya?

Thanks for the info!

Played at Laem Chabang, Burapha and Siam CC in January, all great courses but Laem Chabang would have to be my favourite of the three. Agree with Alan on Siam CC, it's a bit annoying not being able to take the carts off the path but I guess it helps keep the fairways in good condition though. Can't say on the rental clubs as we brought our own with us but only ever had the one caddy per person at each course. There are definitely plenty of courses to choose from, enjoy the trip!!
