w3.mict.go.th blocking sports streaming ? way around it?

How come when I try to watch some streaming sport online I get stuck when the site tries to load something from this address: w3.mict.go.th , i get that when I try to look at some porn sites too, its weird sometimes its blocked sometimes its not. I assume its the government trying to censor the internet which shouldnt be allowed anyway.. is there anyway around this?

It's the Thai Ministry of Information and Communication Technology blocking the sites. They can do anything they like as it is there country. You should come to China as it is a lot worse.

I watch streaming sports all the time, and never blocked. What ISP are you using? I am with Sophon Cable

If it is seemingly sometimes blocked, but sometimes it works, I don't think it is actually blocked at all. Sounds more like just a poor hosting server for whatever website you are using. Peak viewing times might be straining bandwidth allotments for the owner of the site.  Maybe he/she doesn't have a dedicated rack. 

 

A site can either be blocked by IP or not blocked.  If it is blocked, you'll never connect to the site without messing around with proxies.
