Merchants That Persuade Tourists Into Buying Things Are To Be Arrested

Pattaya Tourist Police has alerted merchants that try to persuade tourists at Walking Street to buy things from them, which caused great annoyance to the tourists.

PATTAYA – August 29, 2013 [PDN]; Pattaya Tourist Police have announced that merchants that are seen persuading or annoying tourists to buy things at Walking Street will be arrested without any further notice. 40 merchants have already been arrested, many of which sold clothes and roses.

The Tourist Police received many complaints from tourists saying that they’re being annoyed by the merchants as they tried to persuade the tourists to buy things from them.

All suspects will be charged at Pattaya Police station where they’ll be fined 100 THB each before releasing them.

if they try to arrest every one who attempts to sell us things in Patts then they are going to need way more police and jails.

 

But then again, with a fine of 100 baht each it could be a nice little money spinner.

 

Especially if they round up all the fucken Indian tailors around the place.

 

Will take the pressure off the girls on Beach Road too.

It'd be nice if they stopped shoving flowers, cameras and other things in your face while you're looking for pussy but don't see it happening with a 100 Baht fine
