Indian Tourist Drowns!

An Indian tourist drowns after using safety rings; unfortunately he did not know how to swim, so he was unable to save himself.

PATTAYA– August 25, 2013 [PDN]; at 2.30 p.m., Pol. Lt. Suphan Sophee, investigation police on duty, Pattaya police station received a report that and male Indian tourist had drowned in the sea at Saem beach on Koh Larn, Moo 7 Tambon Naklua, Banglamung,Chonburi. The police officers and a rescue foundation team hurried to investigate and identify the body.

The deceased was identified as Mr.Danni Kashi 28 years old, Indian citizen, he was found wearing shorts, his head and body was slightly bruised. The body was identified to be dead for about 1 hour. Two of his friends followed his body with grief, while the Koh Larn rescue team bought the body to the shore.

After investigation it was found that Mr. Dannis and his friends had rented out safety beach rings and were enjoying in the Beach at Koh Saem, shortly after sometime due to high tide Mr.Dannis was taken way with the wave, he drowned about 1 meter deep hitting his head to the debris, which left him unconscious.

After preliminary investigations, the dead body will be sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for autopsy to ensure the reason behind his death before coordinating with the embassy officials to give further information.
