Solo Bank Robber Gets Away With Only 10,000 THB In Cash

A solo bank robber was able to get away with only 10,000 THB after robbing a Kasikorn bank in Nonthaburi.

NONTHABURI – August 21, 2013 [PDN]; Bangyai Police were informed that a robber had looted a Kasikorn bank. Police immediately rushed out to the scene.

A bank employee said that as the bank was about to close, a man wearing a black helmet ran into the bank and shouted “This is a robbery!” and demanded money from the bank. He then jumped over to counter no. 5 in the bank and was able to find that only 10,000 THB was stored in the drawer, as most of the money was kept in the bank’s safe. He then ran out of the with the money in a disappointed matter and escaped with his motorbike.

Police are now studying CCTV footage in order to identify the robber’s identity.
