Honda CBR Motorcycle Driver Shot Dead

Gunner shoots a Honda CBR motorcycle driver; bullets along with nine amphetamine tablets were found hidden in his body.

PATTAYA – August 19,2013 [PDN]; – At 6.00 pm Police Lt. Colonel Kiatisak Satongoi of Pattaya City police station was informed about a gun shot near the next turn blue Condominium Pattaya Moo 9, Tambon Nong Prue, Banglamung, Chonburi,

The injured man was taken to the Pattaya Memorial Hospital. The investigating department followed to the hospital to inquiry and found that this Thai man is aged 36, Mr. Niran Chayachaikit who lives in 97/3 Moo 10, Tambon Huay Yai, Banglamung, Chonburi. Shortly after the man dies due to severe wound received during the accident. The condition of the body was found with a shot guns of 9 mm in the chest, right above the left ribs and one shot on his left leg, nine amphetamine tablets were also found hidden in his underwear.

At the accident scene information about the accident was revealed that 2 motorcycles, brand unknown was driving and chasing Mr. Niran who was driving on a black Honda CBR on Sukhumvit Road. Mr.Niran tried to drive faster but those two bikes made their pace and shot many bullets towards the bike in front of Blue Condominium. Unfortunately, Mr. Niran fell from his motorbike to the ground and the motorbike quickly caught flames, because the bullet had hit the oil storage container which caused the leakage and fire. Fire extinguishers were quick in putting out the flames he was then taken to the hospital where he passed away shortly.

Police Lt. Colonel Kiatisak Satongoi revealed that the reason for Niran being followed could have been due to various reasons such as drug issue betrayal, personal affairs, resentment. However, further investigation regarding involvement in drug issues will be investigated and so will the shooters be tracked down.
